Background

International Conference on Economics, Business and Economic Education (ICE-BEES) 2018 is a refereed conference organized by Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Semarang, Indonesia in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. The conference will be held from 17th to 18th July 2018 at Grasia Hotel, in Semarang City, Central Java Province, Indonesia.

The theme of the conference is: Deliberations on Business and Education Practices toward Internationalisation”.

Aim and Scope
The conference is aimed to provide an opportunity for researchers, students, government officials and professionals to share their research in a boarder community and to get a better understanding on the current state of research or ideas in the field of economics, business and economic education. This conference is expected to develop a strong network for researchers in same interests or fields. This conference is also expected as a medium for new or young researchers to establish a strong relationship with experienced researchers. In this conference, all levels of university students will have opportunity to present their final or current works and receive friendly feedbacks from academics and peers.

Call for Papers

Please submit an abstract of not more than 250 words by May 29, 2018. The abstracts and papers should be written in English. The abstract should consist of the following: aim of study, method used, result, and implication. Accepted abstracts will be required to submit a paper between 6 to 10 pages (including references). You are welcome to submit up to three papers. Abstracts and full papers are peer-reviewed. ICE-BEES makes every effort to ensure high quality of all papers submitted in this conference.

The conference proceedings will be discoverable immediately upon publication in:

  • Directory of Open Access Resources (part from ISSN organization).

And we will submit them to the Citation databases: Scopus and/or Web of Science (conference proceedings from Clarivate, formerly Thomson Reuters & ISI) indexed proceedings. PLEASE NOTE: We will submit all papers to Scopus and Web of Science but indexing is subject to Scopus/Web of Science approval. We do not have control on them.

Abstract and Paper Submission

To submit an abstract, authors must register first (click here). Then they can submit their abstracts by logging in to this site (menu “Submission System” then “Login”). The manuscript (full paper) can be submitted only after authors submit their abstracts. The whole submission process is done fully online (NOT by email) to guarantee smooth administration. Letter of Acceptance (LoA) and Letter of Invitation (LoI) can be downloaded directly from your account once your abstract is accepted to be presented at the conference.
